Looking Beyond the Hard Times

"Life happens to everyone, even the strongest of us" This is a popular quote but it is quite unfortunate how quotes like this tend to lose its meaning to us as we hear them over and over again. We seem to be too familiar to pay attention to what is most important, hence, fail to take necessary actions. You might be in a really "tight space", the walls all around you may seem to be crumbling, the ground too might be sinking beneath your feet, struggling and doing things the best way you can but you don't seem to get the needed result. Atimes, this situations weigh you down, overwhelm and over run you to a level that your mind is consistently flooded by these problems. From the inception of this world, and after the fall of man, problems and challenges have become inevitable. But when these challenges come, how do you react to them? Do you cry silly, blame people and throw in the towel? Or you get divinely dissatisfied and aggressively seek God for swift intervention?

“Life happens to everyone, even the strongest of us.”

This is a popular quote but it’s quite unfortunate how quotes like this tend to lose its meaning as we hear them over and over again. We seem to be too familiar to pay attention to what is most important, hence, fail to take necessary actions.

You might be in a really “tight space”, the walls all around you may be crumbling, the ground too might be sinking beneath your feet. You may be struggling and doing things the best way you can but you don’t seem to get the needed results.

At times, these situations weigh you down, overwhelm and overrun you to such a level that your mind is consistently flooded by these problems.

Evaluation is Key

But dear friends, note that your imagination of a situation will determine your evaluation of it. However, this evaluation will influence your actions or efforts in getting desired results.

No Problem is Permanent

Please understand that there’s no problem or challenge without an expiry date. No problem lasts forever. Understanding the seasons of life will however serve as a guide in whatever situation you’re passing through.

Don’t Dwell on Your Problems

Dear friends, bear in mind that whatever you dwell on, you give energy to grow. You become more incapacitated in handling your problems when you dwell on them.

Challenges are Inevitable

From the inception of this world, after the fall of man, problems and challenges have become inevitable. But when these challenges come, how do you react to them? Do you cry silly, blame people and throw in the towel? Or do you get divinely dissatisfied and aggressively seek God for swift intervention?

Like I stated earlier, “every problem has an expiry date”. Your present circumstances and situations will not last.

“Challenges are stepping stones to get to the place you should be”.

Rest assured that something greater lies at the end of all of the struggle.

Just believe! Work hard, pray hard and trust God.

Look beyond the hard times!
